One of my favorite photos...that is all.

Our Boys 4x100m relay nearly broke the state record in 2012 and ran the fastest time (41.43 seconds) in 26 years. It was a good day.

Tides Boys Team 2019 3A Runner-Up!

It's tough to explain why getting 2nd in state is bittersweet. We don't often talk about it, but heartbreak is the norm in our beloved sport. We set the bar high and so do our athletes; the pursuit of excellence is who we are. Track is full of the highest highs and the lowest lows. The highs are not as high without the lows...and even then the lows feel lower than the highs feel high. It hurt, but we are better for it.
